Crystallographic analysis of 1,1’-bis (3-methyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) cyclohexane

Abstract

The crystal structure of 1,1’-bis(3-methyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) cyclohexane has been determined by X-ray crystallographic technique. The compound crystallized into monoclinic crystal lattice having space group P2₁/c with unit cell parameters, a = 15.023(2) Å, b = 9.924(2) Å, c = 11.620(2) Å, α = γ = 90⁰, β = 112.41(1), V=1601.5(5) ų and Z = 4. Other parameters, such as atomic coordinates, bond lengths, bond angles, torsion angles and geometry of intermolecular interactions are also determined.
